If you've been keeping up to date with Eden De Fleur on Instagram then you know how obsessed I am about my new personalised leather goods. Undoubtedly two favourite investments I've made this year as I use them on a daily basis- and most importantly - they're both under $100 each.

I've had my eyes on The Daily Edited Pouch for a very long time now but as they are only available online, I seemed to always add to cart and when I have too many tabs open and my laptop started to lag - I would just close the tabs and forget about it. I felt that I needed to see it in person before I could decide to purchase. On my recent Sydney & Melbourne Girls Trip with Lisa and Amanda, Amanda and I decided to surprise Lisa for her birthday by taking her to the David Jones Sydney 'TDE' Stall and letting her choose one on the spot. I'm not going to lie, I gave in and purchased one for myself too as they monogram on the spot and we were able to pick it up 20 minutes after purchasing. It is the most versatile pouch ever. The inside features card holders on one side and a pocket on the other. It doesn't matter if you're dressed up or down, it'll never look out of place.

My beautiful friend Olivia of Olympia Creative is such an inspiration and trend setter. I've loved her work since meeting her last year and so when she brought out her Monogrammed Leather Keyring - of course I had to have one. Extremely handy when you're running errands, arms are full and you can just dangle it on your pinky finger. You'll never loose your keys in your bag again!

My love for ruffles grows exponentially as I discover more and more beautifully designed pieces such as this cute Hello Parry number. It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of the Perth-based fashion power house having worked closely with the beautiful Sandy the last few years, and although I have moved on to my creative business De Fleur Creative - I feel that I will always be drawn back by all the beautiful pieces Sandy personally picks for her fashionably chic brand.

Let's be real for a moment. Life is a total roller coaster consisting of highs, lows, turns and circles. You're happy, you're sad, you go different directions and sometimes you will re-visit certain points in your life. Everyone faces their own obstacles and dilemmas and although I'm sure many of us wish life was easy for them.. How would we learn or grow as a human if everything was just given to us? I'm very grateful to have what I have as well as to have been brought up with a drive in me that pushes me to do better and to work hard for what I want.

Everyone will hit negative points in their life, some more that others. Karma is a bitch. But, instead of turning into a negative person from these negative experiences.. I always think "Someone out there has it worse than me" and if you're reading this in a room with a roof over your head and access to wi-fi then you definitely have it better than most people in the world.

I consider myself as someone who is pretty positive most of the time. Of course, sometimes I will feel anxious when attending events or shooting in front of one too many people, uncontrollable things will happen in life that will get my mood down and sometimes little things will annoy me- heck, I'm no saint which, is why I'm sharing these five thoughts that help me stay positively grounded throughout the year.

See the good in things.
Every situation you encounter, you get to decide whether it's good or bad and of course you will react to it in the way that you do. Try to see things in a positive light or put yourself in their shoes. No one is perfect so why be bitter about situations that can be easily avoided.

Surround yourself with the people and things you love.
This is one that I live by. Being around the people and things you love most with 110% improve your happiness. The ones who support you, motivate you and are unconditional are the best kind and I'm lucky enough to have a few. Also, everyone has a personal thing they love to do - I love being out and about- getting coffee, going to the markets, to the beach, having brunch or even just going for a bubble tea run (Getting a few good snaps in the process is always a bonus) - doing these things always manages to boost my mood. Find those things, do them as often as you want and you'll be much happier.

Be kind, be courteous.
Hello, How are you?, Thank You, You're Welcome, Goodbye. When did these words start to disappear? Is anyone really too busy to be kind and courteous? The amount of people that I have encountered that are so impolite really confuses me. Why? It's not hard at all to be kind and well mannered- please stay at home if you can't be either or both at the same time.

Delete all the negative people from your life.
Just by reading this sentence you may have a few names in mind. This one is a no brainer. Why keep those who are negative in you life? Why do they have the right to control your happiness? Kick them to the curb and be done with them. You'll feel so much better after they're gone.

Be happy.

At the end of the day, what you do in your life is yours to keep forever so do what makes you happy and fight for what you think is right. You don't want to be someone who turns 90 and regret all the thing they could have done. If you want to do it- do it now. Why be blessed with a life to live and choose to be miserable? Travel the world, find true love, start your own business; do what you want to do because at least you know you've tried, succeeded maybe but as long as you're happy- that's a life worth living for.

Happy New Year Lovers!

Another year has gone by and what better time to create a list of challenging goals for 2017. I'm yet to complete mine but, I do have quite a few in mind I'd like to smash out this year. Even if you don't think you'll accomplish it - It doesn't hurt to write it down and see if you've actually accomplished it at the end of the year, month or week. A positive, determined mind is all it takes to complete simple goals you set for yourself. But note, don't set impossible goals, do reward yourself with relaxation time or a treat and remember your success is up to yourself and no one else.

Just a little re-cap with featured highlights of our 2016 - Wilson and I spent New Years and the first week of January finishing up our epic month+ long USA trip, we collaborated with many amazing brands including Pandora, Transit Clothing, Hello Parry, Lock & Key Clothing, Adrien Harper, Ebb & Fleur, Generics Shop, The Makeup Factory, Brittany Jo's Makeup, Glamour Nail Bar and attended even more amazing events including the Good Food and Wine Lunch and the W.A. Fashion Awards, road tripped down south to Margaret River, attended my lovely friends Sandy and Nick's Wedding in March then in September we watched my my beautiful friends Janet and Minh then Wilson's brother, Jason and Steph walk down the aisle, I also met so many amazing people, some who are now my good friends through the HPPR Launch Party, attended the first Love Thread Project and helped support them to reach their goals (which, they did - yay!).

In May, I officially launched my baby De Fleur Creative - luxury styling and photography business focusing on styled product/fashion shoots, luxury events, engagements and weddings. For six months up to October, I organised collaborative styled shoots and met/worked with even more amazing people through it as well as built my clientele and worked on some big projects through it which, was and still is an absolute dream come true. Things got a bit crazy after August and I stopped blogging for a while but, I made a major come back the last two months. Traveling to Bali in November with Transit Clothing as an influencer was a huge achievement for Eden De Fleur as well as working with Allure via Detail for Christmas in December. You could say that 2016 was a bloody great year for me and honestly I couldn't do everything I do without the support of you (my readers and followers), my family, friends and my number one foundation of support and my love, Wilson.

Just before the year ended, I wanted to put together a festive look, focusing on beauty and personal style to celebrate the New Year. My colour palette included champagne, wine and rose gold - very luxurious tones perfect for the festive season. I wanted my make up to be flawless so of course I asked my beautiful friend Brittany who is an amazing freelance make up artist to create a look surrounding the idea of stars and of course my colour palette (She absolutely nailed as you can see). For the added sparkle, I styled with Pandora's Rose Gold Collection including the Captured Hearts Earrings, Hearts of Pandora Necklace and Ring, Braided Pavé Ring and Shimmering Feather Ring- absolutely gorgeous pieces.

To end my first post of the 2017, I'd like to wish all my lovely readers an amazing 2017 filled with love, happiness, adventure and success. To the dreamers, stop dreaming and start making your dreams come true.

I want you all to meet my newest love, Rosa. As some of you may know, I simply adore Adrien Harper watches (See our first collaboration in August here). They design such chic watches with easily changeable straps that just adds a touch of class to any occasion - whether it's a dinner date, heading to the office or a relaxed off-duty look. They only recently launched their Rose Gold Collection and I'm not at all surprised at how popular they are. Adrien Harper offer a variety of classic women and men watches so, head over to their website and save 20% off your total order with my promo code "AHxEDEN".  Note: Christmas is only 13 days away.

As for my Parisian inspired outfit, I opted for my SS16 Hunter Rose Ruffled Slip to go under my Hello Parry Silk Pyjama Blazer and finished off my look with my cute MNG suede flats. I have to admit that I'm really loving ruffles lately - possibly the start of a new trend this Summer? x

I've never been the biggest fan on Skinny Jeans as I personally found it super hard to find the perfect pair. They were always too long (biggest issue), too loose on the hip and too tight on the calf and I always thought they were uncomfortable compared to leggings and hated trying them on in store 'til I met these babies.

Not only are these super comfortable and stretchy enough to squat down but, they also fit the length of my fairly short legs better than any jeans I've ever owned. I also find that high rise jeans fit my petite frame well as it accentuates my legs and makes them look longer than they really are.

The best part? They are only $40 from Miss Shop in Myer. You can get them here.

A classic watch specially crafted for stylish business-minded and minimal individuals. Adrien Harper is my go-to for the most beautiful, well designed timepieces with a perfect watch face. I absolutely adore the quarterly roman numerals as it doesn't over complicate the simplicity of the face but, still remains extremely stylish. If the colour of your strap doesn't suit your outfit then no problem as all their watches feature an in-built spring bar that allows for simple changing of straps, making it super easy to re-style your time face. I personally picked the pink and grey leather with the silver face as I find that I wear a lot of those tones though, I do think I'll need the black strap as well now as I've been wearing it non-stop for the past week (and now that I think about it.. probably forever). I highly recommend this watch for those looking for a high quality yet reasonably priced work or everyday watch- especially if you're always on the go. Oh, and here's a bonus for all you amazing readers, 15% off at the checkout when you enter "AHxEDEN" for watches and straps. You're welcome!

Happy Monday Lovers, wow, how fast has this year gone by? It's already mid 2016 and I'm in dire need of a vacation. It's no secret that my favourite tones consist of black, white and blush- but, honestly this look has got to be one of my favourites this year. Ruffled sleeves, suede blush skirt and simple black accessories- très parisienne.

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful mum's out there.

This year, I've had the greatest opportunity in teaming up with Pandora to share a special moment with the woman who gave her unconditional love to my siblings and I, our mother. She's the one who cooked for us, clothed us, taught us manners and provided us with all the necessities in life (to name a few). I seriously cannot fathom the debt we owe her as essentially.. we owe her our life.

Mother's Day is a day to celebrate and appreciate our mother's for everything that they have done and given us. As much as I believe everyday should be Mother's Day, we're all adults now with different priorities and a work life but, in saying that we always always come back together to celebrate our amazing mumma bear.

So.. from the bottom of my heart- Thank You Mum, for everything you have given me.. given us. To see how we spoilt our beautiful mum this Mother's Day- Follow edendefleur on Snapchat.

love you forever,

A spectacular night it was as my love and I arrived at the 20th W.A. Fashion Awards at the Heath Ledger State Theatre on Tuesday night. We were attending for the first time and wasn't exactly sure what to expect but, it definitely didn't disappoint. All the women were dressed beautifully- some in stunning gowns and others dressed modernly elegant and let's not forget all the men looking handsome in their fitted suits. We mingled with other fashion creatives, bloggers and friends with a glass of wine in hand before being seated in the theatre.

A huge congratulations to all the well deserved nominees and winners on the night including Morrison for winning "WA Designer of the Year". It was inspiring to watch all the hardworking fashion creatives, stylists, models and designers share their stories and talk about their passion and dreams for the WA Fashion Industry. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for WA Fashion.
